Since 2014, Elwoodesign has worked with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation to help the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library improve lives and build a stronger community.
Elwoodesign has helped design marketing materials for two of the Library’s largest fundraising events Verse & Vino and The Carnegie Circle Dinner, along with EpicFest, an extraordinary, free literary festival that brings children, teens, and families together with authors, illustrators and the library.
Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation celebrates members of the Carnegie Circle, over 200 Library supporters whose annual gifts help create a community where reading, learning, and imagination thrive. Elwoodesign works closely with CMLF’s team to help promote each year’s event with marketing materials themed to reflect the guest author’s current book.
To help promote Charlotte’s new Library opening in 2024, Elwoodesign has helped create banners and marketing materials to promote its arrival. CMLF created CommonSpark, which addresses an integrated set of needs: a new Main Library uptown; a Support Services Center for behind-the-scenes operations; systemwide technology, innovation and programming; an endowment for the future and annual Library operating support.
For the past 7 years, Elwoodesign has provided marketing materials for two extraordinary events: EpicFest and Verse & Vino. EpicFest is a free, open to the public event that showcases the talents of writers and illustrators, both locally and nationally. Verse & Vino is a Charlotte literary tradition. This evening of food, wine, and conversation with New York Times best-selling authors celebrates the joy of reading, writing, and libraries, and brings together a community of readers in support of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation.
